A while ago I read a book called Something borrowed by Emily Giffin and I totally fell in love with the characters and the story. Something borrowed tells about Rachel, a thirty year old New Yorker who falls in love with her best friend Darcy's fiancé. Darcy and Rachel has been friends since they were like 5 years old, and Darcy has been always "the boss" in their friendship. Darcy is selfish and thinks that she is way more prettier that Rachel, when Rachel tries to be a good friend and understand Darcy and love her the way she is.Something Blue tells the story of Darcy, the selfish perfect girl, who has to face a fact: she has lost her fiancé to her best friend Rachel. Darcy has betrayed her fiancé and she is pregnant to her fiancé's best friend. Darcy breaks up with her fiancé and eventually also with Marcus, the guy who is the father of her child. For the first time ever Darcy is alone. She decides to contact her old friend Ethan, a guy from her youth who has always been much closer to Rachel. By living in London with Ethan Darcy notices that she has acted wrong and she is the one who has really destroyed all the relationships in her life. Living with Ethan makes Darcy respect the new things in her life; her pragnancy, her new friends and especially her friendship with Ethan. She wants to make a change in her life and eventually she really falls in love for the first time in her life.I loved this book as much as I loved something borrowed. For first 300 pages Darcy is the annoying character I got to know while reading Something Borrowed, but while reading the book I really saw the change in her. I can honestly say that the last 20 pages of this book made me cry. :)
